Damn this lack of sun! They said it was going to be warm today! Grr...

Balance is a wonderful thing! I didn't manage to get a great position on the train this morning, and ended up standing right in the middle of a bunch of people, with nothing to cling on to! So I had to stand there for half an hour trying not to topple over! I just about cracked it. I realised that if you let your lower body go limp, and let your knees take the bumpiness of the train, it's much easier than trying to stand up straight! You learn something new every day!

Again with the "you see the weirdest things..." A couple of days ago coming into work, I saw a bicycle, not chained to the railings, but impaled on them! Someone had just lifted it up and perched it on top! And it stayed there all day! Amazing considering it wasn't actually chained to the railings! The next day it was no longer impaled, just sitting next to the railings. Still not chained, and still intact! Wheels attached and everything! In the middle of Soho! I was truly amazed...

I've got a visitor this weekend! Yippee! He's joining me for free beer at work, and then we're going out to dinner somewhere that isn't Pizza Express, 'cos he went there last week. Oh well, I didn't want pizza anyway... :o(

Where's this sun I was promised?!?
