Ooh, I do like doing lates - I get a lie-in! This week I'm doing 12pm - close, which can be as late as 7:30pm, or can be as early as 6pm, depending on whether there are any late sessions, and if VT want dinner. Tonight, there weren't, and they didn't, so I stuck around for Home And Away, then buggered off. Dave came to work with me, then wandered off to see Max, then came back to have lunch with me, so we had pizza rather than my usual sandwich, then went and sat in Soho Square and watched people being vox-popped by German tv people. They didn't ask us! Then again, Dave was being his usual eccentric self, so they were probably scared...
We made what can only be described as chocolatey sludge on Saturday. It was supposed to be chocolate and nut loaf, but I don't ike nuts, so we put mixed fruit in instead. It also has amaretto biscuits in it, making it taste rather alcoholic :o> So it was suposed to take an hour to set in the fridge. Afer two hours of waiting we got fed up and scooped some out to try. Ooh is it gooood! Sooo chocolatey! So very bad for you! The next morning it still hadn't set! Maybe the measurements were wrong. My kitchen scales are a bit crap!
We also went shopping in Eltham on Saturday. I went to see Danny in Boots to tell him how my job's going, as I promised I would. He said he needs me back! It's nice to be wanted! Then we went into Peacocks and I found the best t-shirt in the world! It's supposed to be for 11-12 year old boys, hence the rather spiffing price tag of £3.00, but fits me perfectly. It has "smart", and then a picture of a donkey! Good eh! I wore it to work today and Sean didn't understand .
I got paid by Boots on Thursday, and by Wildtracks today! All is right with the world again - until it runs out!!
