So, work then. It's cool - I'm really enjoying it so far. A bit knackering though. I'm getting up at 6:30am to get there for 8:30am, and not getting home 'til 7:30pm. On my first day I just had dinner and went straight to bed at 9pm! I think it'd the travelling that takes it out of me more than the actual work. It only takes about 40 minutes to get there, but it's 40 minutes of squashing up against miserable, smelly commuters and I don't like it :o(

But anyway - back to the job. It's pretty much what I thought it would be, preparing studios for clients, getting lunches and other general dogsbody work, but the other runners are cool and have made me feel welcome which is nice. Sean's 23 this month, from up North somewhere and now thinks I'm crazy for getting angry at the lack of fridge magnet in our Coco Pops! Well, I do like to leave a good first impression! James is 23, from Cardiff and looks like an attractive celebrity but I can't think who! I think it might be Jude Law. I'll have a think about it and let you know...

You'd be amazed at how many restaurants and coffee houses there are in Soho - I was, when I realised I'd have to go to most of them to get food for the clients! Some are easy, but others want difficult stuff like sandwiches from Marks & Sparks, which is miles away! Still, I've been able to explore Soho which is nice. I found G-A-Y today - it's literally round the corner from where I work. Ditto for the Astoria, which had about 30 goth kids standing outside when I went to Sainsbury's on Monday (at around 11am), and by the time I came out of work (at 6pm) the line had extended all the way down the road, but they still hadn't got in! They'd waited all day for it to open so they could be in the front row to see Placebo! Crazy kids! (I'm so old!) I'll be hunting for all the other celeb hangouts which I keep seeing articles about in the endless supply of gossip mags in reception over the next few days. Apparently the Soho Bar is along the street I work in, which charges a £400 per year membership fee, and a £150 joining fee! Should be good for celeb-spotting!

I think I'm going to enjoy this job.....
