Well, I had a lovely weekend. We surprised my Mum with a meal for her 50th, and she didn't suspect a thing!!

This clock turning back thing is gonna take some getting used to - it felt like I was getting up at 5:30am this morning! Ouch! And to make matters worse, I had a cold shower - again! They were supposed to come and fix it today, but nobody was in, so I don't know whether it's been done or not. We shall see (or feel) tomorrow. If it's cold again there'll be hell to pay! It was nice to come home while it was still light though - I do love summer!

When we were coming into London Bridge this morning I saw...trainspotters! Three of them! At 8:15 in the morning! Are they mad?! Considering the same train makes the same journey at the same time every day, I think they must be. I don't understand how watching ugly, smelly trains can be considered a hobby! Still, if it gets them outdoors...

Gay men are great! Remember I work in Soho, so there's no shortage of them - and they're so easy to spot! They mince so well! And they have a habit of talking really loudly into their mobiles, or to whoever they're with, in that spectacular way which sets them apart from the rest of the male population! I think it's great! And they always seem to be more polite than heterosexual men too. Dammit!

I'm alcohol! No - not alcoholic(!) - there's a brand of alcohol called Julia! In saw it when I was in Pizza Expess collecting a lunch order - next to the orange flavoured Creme de Cacao...mmm! It looked like a type of whisky, and I can imagine it being pronounced "Hoolia", but say it like you've got a hairball! That's how they say my name in Spanish, and I think that's probably where it comes from. I might just ask next time I'm in there...

They're arranging for us to go to a pub quiz at work! Hooray - finally a chance to show off my wonderful general knowledge skills!...or not...
