Oh woe is me. For I have seen the unseeable. There was an old bloke sitting opposite me on the underground today - wearing the same trousers as me (brown cords). *sob* With a green shirt! And a tie! There goes any street cred I ever had!

This has been the quietest week at work ever! We've had very few bookings each day which means us runners had to "run" around pretending to be busy! I do get to start my training next week though, which'll be nice. I'm starting in VT, a teeny tiny little room full of buttons and lights. Oh, and Martin - the wasp-god :o)

There's this little chinese woman who stands at the bottom of the stairs at Charing Cross handing out magazines in the morning. Only she doesn't just hand them out. She practically thrusts them into your hand. Most people don't take them though. She seemed to be particularly perturbed about this on Wednesday as she was running around chasing people who were ignoring her! At first I joined in with the ignoring, as I hate having junk mail hurled at me. But one day, out of curiosity I accepted her wares, and they're not all that bad at all. So now my copies of Girl About Town and Ms. London are a regular feature of my journey to work. Yesterday there was a fascinating article about Jen & Ben and Cruz & Cruise's apparent "race" to get up the aisle. Yes, it's all tat, as are the multitude of gossip magazines which we're forced to pile in reception each week. But it's celebrity tat, and that makes all the difference dontcha know! And it is quite amusing to see the boys ignoring Empire and NME in favour of Heat and Hot Stars! I'll get a picture of them one of these days. They'll never live it down. Muahahahaha!
