Spiders, spiders, everywhere...

The scariest thing in the world happened to me earlier. I went to put my car in the garage, so opened the door, then squeezed past the bush to get in the car. Just as I sat down, I felt something tickling my arm. I looked down, and there were loads of tiny yellow spiders crawling up my arm! And I mean loads - they were covering my whole arm! I guess I must've disturbed a nest as I brushed past the bush. (I didn't even know spiders lived in nests!) I'm very lucky they weren't biters, otherwise I'd certainly have fainted, if not worse! (I'm allergic to wasp stings dontcha know). So spent the next ten minutes scooping the things out of my car. I'm sure I've missed a few, so no doubt next time I go to use it it'll be infested! Eugh - I feel itchy just thinking about it. I hope they're not still in my hair! Aaaaaaargh!

So the barbeque was interesting. I spent most of it watching Eurovision. Didn't we do well! <scoff>. For those who didn't watch it (most of you then), we sucked. Gemma of Jemini was completely flat, and had a "rabbit in headlights" stare going on all the way through. We didn't deserve nil points though, that was just evil. Luckily enough, we can't be relegated because we put too much money into the competition! Hoorah! I thought I'd avoid the half-cooked meat on the barbeque. Didn't want to risk another KFC incident like last week!

So most of today has been spent entering competitions, and trying out my new underwear (which is very comfortable, thank you for asking!)

I'm working at Boots tomorrow. Got a phone call today asking if I had my supervisor's phone number, as they haven't been able to get hold of him lately! Sounds ominous! I did have it, but he told me he never turns his phone on, so it probably won't be much use! I was also informed that I would have five members of staff to look after tomorrow, instead of the four that I was alocated last week. This is excellent, because whenever I'm in charge, somebody either turns up three hours late, or doesn't turn up at all! Ah the joys of being in charge!

Was Smallville not on today or did I just miss it? I turned over to Channel 4 at 6pm, after watching some of Back To The Future II, but it wasn't on. So started watching some crappy film on Channel 5 about child geniuses (or is that genei?!), which had Samantha from S&TC, and Biscuit from Ally McBeal in it, then turned back to Channel 4 at 6;30, and it still wasn't on! They may well have said something about it not being on last week - I vaguely remember moaning at the time, but I don't know why. Damn schedulers!

No-one seems to be giving me any pointers on the job situation. C'mon guys - I need help here - I'm going craaaazeeeee!
