Happy National Blonde Day! I conveniently forgot to mention that to anyone today, in case they thought I was crazy (more so).

Yesterday, I walked into a studio with some drinks, and was told they were for the voice booth next door. So went in there and started handing them out, when a voice beside me said "Is there a double espresso there?" (there wasn't). "Er, no-one asked me for a double espresso" says I, and turned around to be confronted by RIK MAYALL! "But I'll go get you one" was hastilly added onto my previous sentence! So off I scuttled to get another coffee. They were practising their lines when I came back so he mouthed "Thank you" and blew me a kiss. I've had a kiss from Rik Mayall, my life is complete! There were also two other very famous people in there, whose names I can't recall. One is a young scottish bloke and the other, an old actor who's been in loooads of films. I'm so crap with names!

And today, I literally bumped into him (Rik). Luckily I was on the way back from a tea run, otherwise we could have had a disasterous spillage, all over his hawaiian shirt (very similar to the one he was wearing yesterday, incidentally).

Mark (other runner) seems to see everybody. He was sitting on the bench outside today and saw Ricky Gervais and David Sneddon! How unfair is that! Then again, it's probably a good thing I didn't see Ricky Gervais, as I would have been inclined to slap him a few hundred times! (He's only tiny, apparently).

I hate having bad eyesight :o( Yesterday we had a meal and drinking session for two of the runners who are leaving (although Mark (not that one) has got another job so will be back in a week - yay!) but I had to leave pretty soon after 11pm to get my last train home, even though I had several offers of places to sleep! And all because of my need for contact lens removal! Must remember to take my lens pot next time we go out. It's either that or move to Shepherd's Bush! Hmm...not a bad idea.....

Tomorrow, we're having our garage roof replaced - hooray! At 8:30am - boo! It would have been ok as we don't need to let them into the house, but they asked that the drive be cleared of cars, and obviously I wanted to move mine out of the garage (bits of crap falling on my pretty little car - I think not!), but Rachel (flatmate) had gone out drinking before I got home from work, and took her key with her. So now I have to move both cars first thing in the morning (I don't want a half-asleep, still-drunk Rachel moving my car, so I may as well do them both), on my only day off of the week! Damn you fate! Why do you mock me so?!
